Age Fraud Regulation

PREVENTION OF AGE FRAUD

  1. CFI maintains a database of all participants.
  2. A rider's licence is issued by the Federation after verifying a Date of Birth certificate issued by the Birth/Death Registrar, a Matriculation certificate, or an affidavit attested by a First-Class Magistrate at the rider's first instance of participation, usually in the Sub-Junior or Junior section. Click here for the rider licence format as per International Federation standards.
  3. Any individual found to be involved in age fraud will be suspended from all CFI-accredited events and competitions for a minimum of two years.
  4. Affiliated Associations have been directed to strictly verify riders' ages before selecting them for state teams.
  5. After completing the suspension period, athletes are permitted to participate only in a higher age category.
